WebBSIT is a consortium of University System of Georgia universities. The consortium offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree from the school you choose. The degree is no different than one received by students who attend the university. The consortium schools are Southern Polytechnic State University, Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Clayton State University, Columbus State University, and Georgia Southwestern State University.
This is a fully online program which enables you to get a Bachelor of Science degree. The WebBSIT program is designed for students who:
- Want to complete the last two years of a four year degree program.
- Have already earned approximately 40-60 semester credit hours or an Associate's Degree from an accredited school.
- Desire online learning
- Want a similar education to students who attend a campus; with similar instructors, program requirements, and curriculum.
As an online student, you will have access to the same academic resources as on-campus students. Many students in the program work full time in the Information Technology field or are seeking to change careers. The asynchronous style of the program enables you to earn your degree outside of the constraints of time and location without a major interruption of your current lifestyle.
